With the rapid aging of today's tomorrow, the financial planning industry will seek 30% job growth rate over the next 3 to 5 years!

As an advisor, you will help clients navigate dynamic financial landscapes. This includes retirement planning, pension alternatives, insurance, estate planning, trust planning, taxes, and more. 

​

The Temple University Financial Planning major allows graduates to sit for the Certified Financial Planner exam upon graduation, which is an advantage compared to those taking the exam later in life.

  • Personal Insurance Coverage, Employee Benefits, and Retirement Planning (RMI 3519)

  • Securities Analysis and Portfolio Management (FIN 3507)

  • Tax, Estate, and Trust Planning (LGST 3519)

  • Writing Intensive Capstone (FIN 4598)

  • Power, Influence, and Negotiating (HRM 3501)

  • Professional Selling and Sales Management (MKTG 3504)

  • Interpersonal Communication through the Life Span (AOD 1166)

  • Mediation: Principles and Practice (AOD 2215)
